Open segment ornament

Ornament made using the segment stomper and segeasy plates. 112 pieces of maple and bloodwood. Globe is 2" high, 2 1/4" at widest, and overall length is 7". Because the pieces are so small, this would have been much more difficult and time consuming using the one piece at a time method. Using the stomper one can do an entire ring, in this case 18 pieces at one time. Comments and critique welcome and encouraged. Art Bodwell

Beautiful work. I just got to make one of these- both the ornament and stomper. Anything to speed up the assembly time, and make the gaps consistent, is a good thing. Well done.
