Is saw blade kerf taken into consideration.

I’m getting ready to start my first vessel using SP. How is saw blade kerf taken into consideration when the program determines board length?
 
Yes the saw kerf is taken into account.

WTP - In the Options table you can specify the saw kerf (blade width)
SP - has a default of 0.125 (1/8") built in.
 
How about extra length for cutting? I.E. 24 segments, Board Length 16.6", SEL .8". How much extra length should I add for processing?

I generally add 3" to the length. All depends on your comfort in cutting and your sled set up.
