• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Native "Free Wood"

I have been collecting assorted logs from native trees. They have been cut into spindle blanks and small boards. I have some Mulberry, Dogwood and Locust as well as maple and cherry. I have used maple and cherry before for segmenting, but are Mulberry, Dogwood and Locust good for segmenting?

Chris, in my opinion any dry wood is good for segmenting. I don't think with as thin most segmented turning is you will find any issue with the different species wood movement if they are combined. If in doubt make up a ring using one or two segments of each. Once turned you will be able to see if you like the outcome.
