• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

I'm thinking the design opportunities are going to be amazing. The challenge will be actually building what we dream up. To render it into a virtual placement, to see inside and out will determine if we like the design or simply throw it into the virtual wood stove. Can you change the trash can to a wood stove?
 
I don't know Lloyd. These previews are starting to be cruel. Remember when you sent off the box tops for your Capt. Video decoding ring and after waiting a week it still wasn't there? I feel like I'm hanging around the mailbox waiting for my ring.
 
I made my first presentation on Saturday and the reception was very good. It did show me some errors that I hadn't seen yet, but that is to be expected. As soon as I have the new authorization code system done, I'll be able to release it. I'm using consultants for this so I'm on their schedule. It shouldn't be long, though.
 
When will you be doing your presentation in Boston? I don't see anything of the official demonstrator grid. I want to make sure I don't miss it.

The board is giving me 10 - 15 minutes at the opening session. They did this when I explained that my primary motivation for creating this software wasn't to give existing segmenters a different way to design a bowl. Instead, I see the software as a way to grow the rank of segmented woodturners. With the SegEasy Plates, the Stomper, the Wedgie System, etc., we are coming up with ways to make the build process simpler, too. So if I can make the design process really simple and more fun and simplify the build process I believe more woodturners will be willing to give it a try.

Trying to cram a 60-minute presentation into 15 minutes will be hard, but I will stick with some simple things and some things that make you go Wow. :->
 
I image you are having some sort of booth, selling stuff. Will there be any demonstrations there also?
 
There is a vendor area and I will be there doing demos all three days. I'm not going to have a lot to sell, though, mostly for logistical reasons. I also am a paid participant this year and am looking forward to going to the sessions. This will be the first time that I haven't been a presenter or on the board so I'll have a chance to see some demos that I've missed in the past.
