• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

I'm using Windows7 with Parallels on a MacPro. When I view the cutting summary the text is bigger than the spread sheet spaces they are placed in. I tried changing text size but the whole sheet changed. Any help out there?

Hotsticker,

I also use a MacBook PRO with Parallels and I don't recall seeing this problem but I do all my development work on a PC. My Macbook just went into the shop, though, to have the system board replaced and so I won't have it back for about a week. The font that I call in the software is Arial Narrow. If that font is not available on your Macbook, a substitute font would be used and it would almost certainly cause the data to exceed the column boundaries.

Can you post a screenshot of the problem? I'll be able to tell what font is being used, but I'm certain this will be the problem. I recently changed the font to a narrower font to accommodate the addition columns that I added to the report. I picked Arial Narrow as that is a default font. If it isn't a default font on Parallels, I'd be very surprised, but I can change the font to something that is a default on both Macs and PCs as soon as mine gets back.

I have the same problem. Aerial narrow does not come with Windows 7. If I purchased some of the office products it would be available. Any more, I only keep the windows side for miscellaneous programs.

Jeff,

If you upgrade to the newest Woodturner PRO, I don't think you'll have this issue anymore as I've changed fonts and adjusted spacing.

Give it a try and let me know if you still have issues.

I am using build 3.1.009. I also notice in 3D design Pro that if I open one of your example files, it is scrunched up into the left corner, so is the grid. I am sure this may have to do with screen resolution?

I am having the same issue. the left hand drawing is off top of screen, while the right side is correct. I am using Windows 7.

Jeff and Gary,

i suspect that that both of you have the same issue which is the driver for your video card. The left window (the 2D window) is taller than the screen shows and so there is a slider bar that lets you scroll up or down. The software has programmed it, but the video card driver is responsible for displaying it.

Fortunately, the manufacturers of the video cards have made upgrading it quite simple, but if you have difficulties, let me know and I'll help you over the phone. Use the Contact Us button at the bottom of the screen to email me and I'll give you a call.

The reason this is an issue here and not with other software is that this is a 3D program for which the OpenGL graphic libraries are used and earlier drivers had poor support for them. They have all addressed those earlier issues in updated drivers, though.

Jeff, Lloyd,

The issue is not with the video card. I have the same issue on two different computers. Here is the fix Jeff.

Do not run the program in Maximum Window at first.
Shrink the Design Program window down, and you will see the scroll bar appear in the center.
Move the scroll Bar so the image moves down, and then Maximizes the window.
