Longshot????

I believe I know the answer already

I was playing around with a design in Seg Pro and forgot to save it. I was away for a couple days but left Seg Pro open with the project still open. Apparently my computer decided to reboot and Seg Pro closed. I am just wondering if there is any way to find this?

That would be a question for Lloyd.
I do not know how to recover something that was not saved and the PC rebooted or SP was closed.

Sorry.

If you lose power before saving, you’ll find it in the big bit bucket in the sky.

The second law of computing: sand easily and often.

First law: reboot.

As an IT professional, it may be possible, it depends on how the software is written and if it keeps the project in a temp file. But if the file is purged when the software shuts down then no.

I purge all my temp files on a weekly basis. If you don't do this, as I understand, it slows your computer down to the point that your computer becomes very vulnerable to attack from hackers and viruses. I also use the "malicious removal tool" (MRT) in Windows along with a good anti-virus program weekly (probably should do this daily) to protect myself. I do not store important documents in the "cloud" ever and I don't use password manager programs. I save all my passwords on a flash drive that I can remove from my computer. I would not rely on a temp file to retrieve a lost file.
