Adding a node in profile view

Simple answer , you cannot add a node in SP. You have to start over.
The control I use for creating the profile does not have the ability to add a dot after the fact. It’s a purchased control that does not come with source code so it simply isn’t an option.
One important thing is that you should use only as many dots as it needs to make a profile. Unnecessary dots don’t improve the profile but they do make it more difficult to modify a profile.
It is also important to know that 3D Design Pro does give you the ability to add dots after the profile is drawn and you can zoom in to give you micro control. It also lets you (forces you to) draw the inside wall profile where that is done for you in Segment PRO. Because you draw both the inside and the outside wall profiles, you are in complete control how thick the all profile at all elevations of the vessel. If you want or need more material at any place along the profile, simply move and inside or outside dot which does the trick.
Using Segment PRO you can recreate any wall profile in 20 seconds and then reposition those dots as you like.
