WTP Board Width Confusing

Ok, maybe I am just tired. Did a quick design for a feature ring I am creating separately. I have the shape I would like and the dimensions. However, when I look at the summary the board widths don't jive.
A good example:
The first row is a floating bottom segmented ring. I want the OD and ID to be an inch different so I have a little room to work with for the bottom. When you look at the summary the board width shows only .5" but I have an 1" in the design. The next ring up does not make sense either.
***If the difference between the OD and ID is 1.0", shouldn't the board width reflect that?

I am not a trig wizard. What I can tell you is the math is correct in WTP
When looking at your wtp file a 5" OD ring with an ID of 4" does make a 0.5 " wide ring.
If you want ring 1 (base) to be 1" wide you need an ID of 3"
I made a quick drawing in my CNC program with 3 rings of 3,4,5" diameter
You can play with WTP and just adjust the inside diameter of the ring till the board width meets what you want.

Duh, I must be tired. I did not consider that .5" on both sides of the ring would be a total of 1".
Sometimes the obvious eludes me

Thanks Mike
