• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Woodturner Pro Summary View Detailed display

I've used SP on a couple of projects and am now using WP for the first time. Is there a way to reduce the font in the Summary View Detailed so what is displayed is not all scrunched up (see attached)? I've tried exporting it to Excel, but it only transfers Standard view information, which leaves out the number of segment cuts for the various species used.Screenshot Summary View Detailed.png

Hi Kevin:
A couple of things you can do.
1) From the View drop down menu, uncheck Status Bar Dimension, Project Properties and Keyboard help
That will make more of the screen available for the summary sheet.

2) In WTP when there is a percentage menu just to the right of the "?". What is it showing as far as percentage?
Use the drop down percentage menu and reduce the percentage. You will see more of the summary sheet.

3) WTP has a limit of 5 species that can be shown in the summary sheet.

I suspect your problem is the percentage settings. There is not way to change the font style or size in wtp

this is a default view of WTP summary sheet

This is a view of WTP summary sheet after making changes to the View and reducing percentage to 100%

I tried both of your suggestions. All it does is change the overall size of the summary sheet. Sizes of the columns were not affected. I can still read it. I just have to pay close attention to it. I shall just write this off as a little quirk for the software.

New idea.
Adjust your font size in the windows program.
  • Here's how to change the size of text, images, and apps in Windows 10.
  • To change your display in Windows 10, select Start Windows logo Start button > Settings Gear-shaped Settings icon > Ease of Access > Display. To make only the text on your screen larger, adjust the slider under Make text bigger. To make everything larger, including images and apps, choose an option from the drop-down menu under Make everything bigger.
Change display settings

your font and font size is different that what my pc produces. I am thinking it has something to do with settings in your Windows operating system.

Mike. Make everything bigger did the trick. Had to set it to 125%. Thanks for your help.
