Welcome, Horace!
On my last trip to Tennessee, I went to the Grand Ole Opry and was so inspired by a bluegrass group of young musicians, I decided to give it a try myself. So I'm a little more than a year into learning to play 5-string banjo in the Scruggs style and am having a ball. Fortunately, my past classical guitar experience has helped to get up to speed on the banjo, but it is one of the more difficult instruments I've learned. Now I'm anxious to get back to Tennessee to hear more bluegrass as it should be played. When I do, I'll look you up as Centerville isn't far from Nashville.
Sometime this weekend, I'll be posting the first three or four videos in a series I'm doing on designing and constructing open segment vessels using Woodturner PRO and the Stomper. It is intended to generate discussions on techniques, tips and tricks and I hope you'll going in.
