Hello everyone! Asking for a little assistance please.
This is an urn I just designed in Seg pro. My brother requested for me to make him one for future use.
Looks wise is this acceptable for an urn? The main wood is maple with walnut top/bottom/ring and a little cherry. I was just going to do a solid ring for the center but after watching Lloyd's video I wanted it to be more.
Second and just as important; I need the opening to be 5" to accommodate the bag of ashes. This was the size recommended by the mortuary. Even though this urn will not be the permanent storage unit I want to install a threaded ring so the lid screws on. I understand I can move the red dots/line to adjust shape and size, but how do I ensure a specific inch measurement for the lip? I do not see anywhere where I can verify the diameter of a specific ring. All I see is the max diameter measurement. Hope this makes sense.
*I realize that the upper shape needs to change to accommodate the rim I want.
Thanks!
