• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Summary data missing Seg Pro

I just finished a new design, but some of my summary data is missing. The summary window only displays 23 out of a total of 31 rows. Also there is only 1 specie listed out of 4. Same thing happens when I print the summary. Right now, I don't know of anyway to access my data after spending many hours on the design.

Did you paint a design in SP and then change the number of segments per ring?

It would be helpful if you would do a share/export and post the *.json file for us to look at.

Right after I read your reply we lost power. I read the other thread. Assuming we have power in the morning, I'll reset , repaint. And see what happens. If it doesn't work, I will send you the file.
Thank you

I have attached the json file and a screen print of the summary
I reset the segments and repainted. All of the species are now available on screen but not all of the rings.
When I print in portrait mode, it prints on 2 pages. If I try to print landscape mode it takes 4 sheets. It does not print with the long side up.
Let me know if this doesn't make sense.

Thanks for the files. I will start to look at them.
- Quick note. If you have not noticed when you are in the Summary screen you can click on a row. Then use your arrow keys to go up and down the the rows. Page Up and Down also works.
- I am away from my printer so it will be sometime tomorrow before I can see how it prints out.
Very nice vase. Really like the pattern.

When I select the print option on my pc I get a print window showing it will print 2 pages in landscape. I selected the custom scaling and set it to 95%. Looks like it will print out on 1 page landscape.

There isn’t a report writer in Segment PRO that would give you greater control over the output. Sadly, there probably won’t be. It would take a LOT of programming and a lot of cost and since I’m the only employee, I don’t see where that time is going to come from.

That is the reason I added the capability to Export instead of Print. If you Export, the list will be opened in Excel where you can do whatever you want with the data and format it however you like. As soon as you do this once, you will do it every time. I only export when I’m ready to print and in Excel, I quickly delete 2/3 of the columns as they are no longer needed and they make the important columns harder to find. I can then enlarge the font and tell Excel to scale the document so that it will all fit on a single portrait or landscape page. I then pin this page to my bulletin board and can see it from across the room.

If you don’t have excel, there are free spreadsheet programs that will work. It simply needs to be able to handle an .xls file which, obviously, all would do.

I have a video tutorial that demonstrates what I do at printout time using the Export feature. Watch the first of the five tutorials at this link:

Thank you for scrolling tip.
Is there any way to move the data to the left so that there is additional room on the right ?
Thank you also for your compliment.

Lloyd's post 9 stating to export the summary to excel. That gives you the best option to do what you want with the data.

Like in excel you can move the columns left or right.
With your mouse move the pointer to the column header you want to move (example. Species) and hold the left mouse button down.
While still holding the left button down, drag the header to its new location (left or right)
release the left mouse button.
Here is your summary I moved some columns to the left. Species, board width, SEL, number of segments by each species.

Thank you. I can see that Excel does make it easier.
