• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Hi I am John and recently retired. I worked for several years at MLCS/ Penn State Industries in the showroom and on the MLCS technical service hot line. Love turning and woodworking in general.

Welcome John

I love PSI and MLCS and have ordered often. I teach disabled vets how to turn and I am always running out of kits and when I have the funds I order from PSI.

My very first lathe was the 10" commander but ended up giving that to one of the vets after I was greatly helped in buying the PM3520b. I now wish I had the 1hp one so can easily do the pens on a smaller lathe outside in the spring and fall and enjoy the sunshine. I never have enough pen & pencil kits or lumber for these guys, however, greatly slowed done due to covid19.

Ed helped me out one time by giving me about 25 DVDs on the woodturning pen which helped a lot before they started with me. When I find a used mini lathe cheap I get it and give it and maybe some tools with it to the vets or family members.

So thank you for your help.

Arlin,
Ed and the company are great to work for. Unfortunately my health went down hill and I had to leave.
I have a Commander Wich is actually my go to lathe. Should you ever get in the Philadelphia are stop in the showroom and talk to the guys and gals they love meeting the people they talk to on the phone in person. They also have tool, blanks and returned items that they sell at deep discounts. Check the website for hours before you go .
I am also a vet and turned many pens for a vet who catered to Navy Chief promotion supplies. He had a piece of the rub rail from a restoration of the USS Constitution which I turned into blanks. They used the pen to sign their Chief Petty Officers pledge.
