Is it possible to use a GOOD miter gauge with the Segment pro software and get good results? With that said, also using a quality blade and table saw!

Yes. For years I used a single fence cutting sled (Incra Miter Express) with a good miter gauge.

I have two miter gauges. One that is indexed at 1 degree and 22.5. (Incra Miter V120) It is pretty much my go to gauge. I also have a Incra Miter 1000.
 
Thanks, also I must say, very stunning and beautiful work, do you use the Segment pro software and also if I was to purchase the Incra sled and 1000 miter gauge would it be best to have the metric if using the Segment pro software?
 
SP gives you the option to select inches or metric measurements
WTP give you the option of fractions, imperial inches or metric.

Use whatever measurement unit you are comfortable with. Miter gauges are in degrees. Has nothing to do metric.
