• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

I just did a new install on a new win10 machine, everything seems fine except the summary view is unreadable. the font looks to be very large, without the room to display it. Anyone know how to fix this.

Scott,

go to you desktop, right-click. And select Display Properties and you should see that a field is set to a percentage greater than 100%. It MUST be set to 100%.
Also, the correct screen resolution is 1920 x 1080, even if it shows a recommendation greater than that. If you have something greater, you probably have that percentage higher than 100% just so you can see the text.

this will cause most software to have inconsistent results because the developer uses 100% and the user says to make the font much bigger.

I have a similar issue:
I have re-installed the program and have yet to get the summary to even populate. I changed the zoom setting to every available and nothing is shown. This installation is on a new machine running windows 10.

Gary:
Please attach your WTP file for the project in which the summary sheet is not populating so we can look at it.

- Have you tried saving the project, exit WTP, restart your computer, start WTP and bring up the project? That may clear things up.

The summary is still blank, but I can export a csv file and it's readable. The program worked fine on a different computer. I have gone thru all my settings and everything appears to be correct. Baffled

Strange issue. I would try removing the sofware and install it again. Reboot your pc after the uninstall.

When you say you went through the settings that is mentioned by Lloyd in post 2, right? display 100%, screen resolution is 1920 x 1080,

As I stated above I imported your json file and it pulled up just fine. So it has to be something in your windows10 set up.

Just bought a new Laptop with Win10 on it and re-downloaded the software and installed it. Having the same issue. I typically export the file to Excel so this is not an issue, but just wanted to say that this is happening to someone else as well.

It would be cool if each of the 3 components of the WTP window were separate so they could be opened and closed independently. SInce the summary displays as full screen, the wizard column overlays. If you shrink the summary to fit, it may be too small to read, but if I could minimize the wizard panel, I could probably see the whole thing.

FWIW

ps. I like the bowl so much, I am going to use it. Hope you don't mind

I run SP on my windows 10 Lenovo ideapad 100. Very low end pc. I have no problem with the summary view populating the data. I do have to use the windows up/down bar to see all of the table if the vessel is large. As Lloyd has said the settings I have is Display at 100%, Screen Resolutiion is set to Lenovo (recommended) which is 1366x768 . My laptop won't go to what Lloyd recommends.

I found out that I can move the windows around and move the profile window underneath the row detail window and got rid of the keyboard shortcuts window. That leaves the summary screen window but there is still no scrolling capability. Screen shot below.

First. My apologies to you and Gary. I was looking at SP and should have remembered you all were discussing WTP. Not sure why I was focusing on SP since Gary attached his wtp file.

There is on the top row of the screen right side a % window. That changes the percentage of the summary view. I moved mine to 130% and got everything on screen and still readable. Even for my old eyes. lol. If I got rid of the keyboard help, etc. i could go even higher in %

Thanks! Mine was set to 150% (not sure why). Changed it to 110% and it looks great! Is that value saved or do I need to re-enter it every time?

It will default back to 150%. At least mine does even after saving the project.

Thanks again. As I said before, I don't bother with the summary view opting instead to export to .csv and look at it in excel, but it is nice to know how to work the software in the event that I do need it.

I’m baffled, too. What's more, I don’t have any suggestions. In 20 years, this has never happened and the font I am calling is a system font and it should absolutely be available.

Have you tried a simple reboot?

it is also possible that there is a security issue. Try starting Woodturner PRO by right-clicking and selecting ‘Run as Administrator’.
