• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Still having issues with cutting consistent thin strips on table saw

I believe the board width will greatly depend on how accurate the angle is when cut. The software showed a cut width of 7/8", so the repeating unit should be 1.75". Is that the case? I concern myself with the repeating unit width more so than the board width. Repeating units will give the circle size you want, the extra board width will be cut off anyway.

I am not really concerned about the actual dimensions of the board width, it seems to be fine.
My question or concern is why is my board always slightly wider than what was calculated by the software.
Either my cuts are off or maybe the program is in error. It just would be nice to know what is happening.
PS I use the Incra miter gauge and slide and think that is or should be very accurate on the angles.

I would check the angle on the board after taking one segment off. For instance, if the angle is exactly 45 degrees, the board should have exactly 135 degrees left on it. Your chevrons looked pretty good as they are.

I use a Rockler Thin Rip Jig along with a zero clearance plate to make my thin strips for lamination . Once set your sliced off thin strip falls to the left of your saw blade. You then move your fence so the board being sliced registers against the jig again. The board being sliced can be any width your comfortable with and the thin sliced piece doesn't get trapped or kicked back. I have sliced strips as thin as 1/16 inch using this jig. If you do some research you might be able to make your own.
