Change Num of Segments Per Row in Seg Pro?

Hi - newbie here - new to turning and to this software. I’ve made a couple segmented bowls using another product but felt it was too limited and didn’t seem super-accurate.

OK, in Segment Pro I made a simple painted ring bowl that has 12 segments per row, 3/4 inch thick, and six rows. I plan on having most of the bowl made from maple with the top walnut. But I’d like to have that top ring made up from 24 segments and only 1/2 inch thick. I’ve looked through the software and several of th video tutorials but can’t figure out how to do that. Is it even possible in Segment Pro?

No. But you can make a duplicate bowl and change to the segments to 24 and then use only the portion you want to. Or you can do exactly what you want to do in Woodturner PRO

Hi Bob - can my design built in SP be imported into WTP? I’ve watched the WTP videos and know about adjusting segments/row there.
 
No SP was written in a completely different programing language and file formats are not compatible

Bob is correct in a project built in SP cannot be imported into WTP. I have found it pretty easy to recreate a vessel in WTP that was designed in SP.
