• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

OK new year coming up and I will get to segmented turning

but what I really would like to do first is an open segmented turned bowl and vase.

I would love or I should say NEED any and all advise on what to do before in planning before, what to use and how to put it together and finish it.

I have all the software and would love to have something on the bowl as a sailboat with birds and other sea life and for the vase flowers coming up out of the ground and bees and butterfly's.

Thanks for help and advise and any links to things to see or look at.

How do I download this to the right area in my computer?

They are Segment Pro files.
Just clink on the file name and they will download to your download directory
Then fire up Segment Pro and go to Share in the menu and click on import and then go to your download directory and pick the file

Thanks but you have to remember I have a hard time figuring things out with my brain damage from the bombing. I thought anything downloaded went right to Temp Files or something like that? I do not know what Directories you mean and the Share menu is.

No problem Arlin, first I'm assuming you are running widows 10??

You should have a directory called downloads.
It's normally under the quick access from your file explorer. Left side way at the top.
That's where windows 10 normally downloads files.
If you can't find that let me know and I will explain further.

The share menu is in Segment Pro.
Way at the top, you will have a menu item of Share
When you click it you get a help | Export | Import menu iterms

I have windows 7. Does it still apply?

I had someone else tell me on another site to make sure I have a certain ring that has holes in it for the correct spacing.

Yes, if you are doing open segmented you need to make a glue up jig. Either on the lathe or off the lathe. And you will need a index wheel

One question I think could solve opening .json files.
Where do the Lamination and Segment software are stored on the computer used?
I do not find in the map where new software should be here. Maybe that's why the computer does not open the files I try for.

Lamination Pro stores it's files under My Lamination Pro in your document folder
Segment Pro stores it's files in a hidden directory under the user directory
