• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Live tailstock with chuck adapter.

I came across this and bought one. it works great for long, large vases etc.. Just thought I'd post it in case others use a shopsmith or find it usable, and have the need for one. It beats trying to make a steady rest for larger items.

Thanks for the post.
The club I belong to has a couple of threaded tailstock live centers. I do a lot of faceplate turnings. Using them makes it easy to center a bowl unto a vacuum chuck or donut chuck to finish the bottom of a bowl. It also can be used to support bowls not needing a steady rest.

Sad to say I sold my Shopsmith last month. It severed its purpose.

A question, do you know if they make one that has a shaft end on the turning side instead of threads?
