• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Problem with 3D Design Pro

When I select a sample form I see the following display. In the left hand display it only shows the bottom half of the bowl. It doesn't seem to matter what form I open, it does it on all of them. I don't remember if I have opened a sample form before or not but I thought I had and it worked properly. Can't really remember.

Hi Frank.
In the 3D program there is a bar control that separates the profile editor window and the 3d display window. This control will move the profile image up or down within the editor window. My guess is your bar control is set at all the way up. Look at the thumbnail 1 and two and notice the difference in the image location and the white area of the bar control. By clicking on the white area or dragging it up and down should move your profile. Hope that helps.

mfisher,
Thanks for the reply. I figured this out last night and it's a bit odd. If the screen is maximized there is no control bar between the profile editor and the display window. However, if I resize the screen and make it smaller the control bar shows up.Maximized.jpg Resized.jpg

Interesting on your solution. Glad you got it figured out.

The control bar I mentioned still shows up for me. It doesn't matter if the screen is maxed or not.
Go figure.

Yes, it's really weird. I think it just started happening but like I said I've not used 3D design pro very much so it may have been that way all along. I wonder if it could be related to screen resolution or something?

That is weird. I always have a scroll bar no matter what I do. I've minimized, maximized, changed resolution and it is still always there.
My guess is that if you upgrade your video driver, this problem will go away. I forget the name of the graphics engine I used in 3D Design PRO, but I know that earlier releases of the video driver did not always implement things correctly. Within a year or two, though, the upgraded drivers took care of all known issues. I'm pretty confident that an upgrade will fix the issue. It is not something I can do through software, though.

Thanks Lloyd. You're probably right about the video driver, I'll look into that.
