Hello everyone. I have been a woodturner for several years now, but have never tried segmented work. I am keen to learn the art as the segmented and staved work I have seen on the internet and on the Woodturner Pro site is so incredible in its complexity, detail, imagination and most of all its beauty. I hope to learn a lot and if I am able to help anyone I would be happy to do that. I look forward to our future conversations.
 
Hi Paul, welcome to the group. Segmented turning can very addictive but fun. Watch Lloyd's tutorials and ask questions and someone will have an answer. Above all have fun.

Welcome to WTP forum. You should like the software that Lloyd has written.
There are some good books/DVD's by Malcolm Tibbets, Ray Allen, and Kurt Theobald that are worth getting and reading/watching.
Have fun. Segment bowl making is habit forming.
