• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

    Morris Chair

I enjoy both flat work and turning. While this chair is flat work the pins that hold the back on and the ones used to adjust the back are turned. The wood is Cherry and took at least 3 times as long to build as it should have.

    Bob's Basket Weave

I've seen segments cut like the basket weave before just not combined to make the weave pattern. How are segments cut or assembled so the ends are parallel yet still make a ring? I keep looking at this thinking it has to be fairly simple but so far I haven't figured it out.

    Remove Old Threads

Lloyd, I think it would be a good idea to delete some of the older build threads. The list is very long and could be confusing.

Clickable Video Tutorial Links Appear Broken

When I click on the "New Video Tutorials" button on the banner it takes me to the forums page. When the banner "CLICK HERE" is clicked I get a WTP error page.

    Splitting Rings With A Bandsaw

Slicing a disc into two or more is a good way to make up thin rings. The only way to do this safely is to use a jig of some sort. Gord Rock has posted a video showing a very simple way.

Links Don't Show Properly- Web Site Issue

Lloyd for some reason when posting a link the description just shows Title not the actual link. I don't know if this is something new or I haven't seen it before.

Using A Vacuum When Cutting Small Segments

This video shows the young fellow using a vacuum to suck up his small segments as they are being cut. I believe Lloyd was working on something similar for the miter saw.

    Accu-Slice Jig

John Manura posted photos of bells he made. Tucked in the description is a link showing how he cuts the rings so thin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIkxrWPcMXE . In the video he talks and demonstrates his Accu-Slicer. After watching it I hope he is going to bring it to market. If he does...

    Did I Miss An Announcement?

I just noticed on the latest WP update the Volume and selected Volume boxes. I take it these are the volumes used for urns. Lloyd, thanks for the update. I think it will be very helpful. Stuart

    Eagle Design

Lloyd, When you get time would you step through your thought process and how you developed the eagle design? I'm sure it wasn't just a "I wonder what would happen if I" process. I'm about 70% of the way to understanding just how it is produced but of course that is after you designed it and then...

    How to Adjust Height?

When using Lamination Pro how should I go about creating a design that has exact sized segments? I would like to use the attached design to make a 12 segment ring, 1 -1/2” tall, outside diameter 14” with inside 12 -5/8”. WTP shows segment edge of 3-3/4”. I know I can change the segment edge by...

    Glue on the stomper

This might be a foolish question but it won't be my first. After using the stomper for a while glue starts building up on the acrylic longworth. Is there any reason the chuck plates can't be run through the dishwasher?

    How To Resize

I'm trying to determine if there is a way to resize the attached that keeps the form or shape the same but all resized based on the feature ring being 9 inch diameter. Segment board width should remain 2-1/4.

    Stomper and Amazon

A fun note. It looks like Lloyd's Segment Stomper has an influence on Amazon. When looking at the Orbit 12 inch pop up sprinkler on Amazon it shows 1-1/4 table caps as frequently purchased with the sprinkler.

Segment Stomper Springs and Centering Pins

What is the advantage of using heavier springs for solid segment pieces with the Longworth chuck? Has anyone found a spring source other than buying a second sprinkler? My second question is what type of centering pins should be used? I purchased my chuck years ago and it works fine but when...

    Small Urn

I had forgotten about this category. This piece is in the planning stage right now and I would appreciate any comments on how to improve the design. We will all benefit if we upload our WTP projects for comments and to help each other. Stuart

    Lamination Pro Circles

I can see and I think understand how to cut segments to make a disc. My question is how do you make it a certain size. For example I would like to make a disc with a 6 inch diameter. How do I determine the size of stock?
