    There is many tutorial videos Lloyd made available in the software. I started using the software about a year ago and watched most of the videos. When I have a problem I go back and watch one of them again. The forums can also help answer many questions. Good luck it's a great starting point.

    Thanks that's a good idea. I hadn't thought of using a piece of mdf. I always have pieces of that around from the sleds I've built, thanks again.

    Thanks for the input. I have thought of doing that but I'm working on a piece that has 96 segments and the arthritis in my hands make's it uncomfortable. I think I'll have to do the pairs like you said and just do a few a day until I complete each ring. Thanks again.

    I use Titebond 3. Some say it's over kill but I have never had a piece come apart on the lathe.

    You've come to the right place. There is a lot of information here. There is video tutorials on the way each program works. At first I had the same problem, but after watching LLoyd's videos everything got much easier. Good luck.
