I love how your bowl came out because it shows off the segments.

It's almost a shame pine is so common because it doesn't get much respect. If a rare wood had that much grain distinction, people would rave over it.

Thanks Mfisher yes the grain pattern reminds me a bit of a cane basket pattern.

Thanks Ken this was a bit of an experiment to see how it would come out in pine, might try to dye it to bring out some colour.
