In March of this year I underwent a quadruple bypass. I made this as a gift to my heart surgeon. I wanted to use the appropriate wood species for a heart doctor so this vase is made from bloodwood and yellowheart. It is quite large at about 17 inches tall and 14 1/2 inches at its widest point. It is 914 pieces .I have not presented it to him yet....soon. I hope he likes it !

Very nice. I like the way the light plays on the yellowheart veining.
