Lidded box

The segmented, lidded box is 150 mm high and 98 mm wide and is made of Imbuia staves separated by 3 mm strips of Paduak covered with a single layer of White veneer on each side. The lid and knob is also made of Imbuia.

Nice project. The strips sets it off.

Looks like you and no bleeding issue with the Padauk into the white strips.

Well designed box and nicely done. Stave segment work is not too common so it's always nice to see some.
