• I'm pleased to announce the release of Turbo Segment PRO, a major upgrade to Segment PRO. It's been a very big effort but I'm pleased to tell you that this is a FREE UPGRADE to all current users of Legacy Segment PRO. There are all new video tutorials and they are in the same place as they were: Video Tutorials > Software > Turbo Segment PRO. There you will find an Introduction tutorial that will tell you about its substantial new features. To install Turbo, just go to the Downloads page of the website and click on the Turbo Installer which will upgrade Legacy to Turbo.

Finally completed the 12.5 x 13.0 inch segmented hollow form with 2008 pieces. Woods used include wenge, bloodwood, yellow heart, and sycamore. Finished with General Finishes Enduro Clear Poly.

An interesting turning! It makes a feature ring from a painted segment vessel. I especially like the interwoven feature ring. I don’t know if everyone will notice it, but segmenters certainly will.

Ended up tacking 2nd place at the Orange County Fair, California with this piece. This was my first time entering the wood turning competition.
