the top lid was a beech ring, 24 segments also with veneer for the contrast. The router jig again, 90 degrees V-bit and pieces that were meant for segmented pens, stack of veneer.
The last piece of wenge i had completed the top finial. Little azobe dome. Finished with 1 layer of PU-laquer. A few coats to go.
