A vase, just started with beech and wenge veneer to make rings. 24 segments 24 pieces of veneer.
The shape i didn't know yet. Started with 8 inch rings. And then it grew...
The top ring i made with a router jig on the lathe and a 60 degree bit. Had some merbau, yellowheart veneer, wenge, yellowheart veneer and azobe to glue in and sanded and turned.
The top rings are made of azobe and oak rings and complete merbau rings
The stand is made of a merbau ring and legs. Making the legs the bandsaw capacitor of the motor smoked, exploded and burned with a lot of smoke.. Disconnected it, and finished the legs
