• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Hello all. My name is Bruce and am just getting started with segments. I have made four bowls and only one came out bad. I have been using the book “Segmented Wood Turning “ by James Rodgers to make two of his projects and a segmented pen. I used Wood Turner Pro for a couple of bowls that came out good. My 30 day trial has expired and I am trying to decide which software to purchase. I have a Jet 1640 lathe and have been turning for about two years.

Welcome to the forum. Please ask questions you may have. There are people here that can help.

As far as the software WTP and SP are both excellent software. Review Lloyds vid on the difference between the two. This should you decide which one fits your needs. I have SP and WTP (suite). Both have uses in designing a vessel.

Bruce, welcome to the forum. Lots of good info here and people willing to answer all your questions.
Just ask

I know this is a delayed hello, but I'm wondering where in AL are you. I'm from Montgomery and am just getting into segmented turning after about 12 or 13 year pause. If you're reasonably close we might collaborate at some point. I picked up some good info at the recent symposium in St Louis.

OK, we're not exactly neighbors but we have a few segmenters in our Birmingham woodturning club. If you're not a member and are interested I'd be happy to help you get involved.

Hi there, I am a newbie, be happy to meet you here!!!
