• Are you looking for a coupon code to buy my software? You can get one from lots of 3rd party sites but they won't work. My software never goes on sale and has never been discounted. The only coupon codes that are given is when I give a club presentation and I offer a discount to the attendees. Other than that, everyone pays the same price.

Problems uploading picture

Can you provide more details? I just uploaded a picture to the gallery and also to a message so you must be talking about something else.

Is there some size limit on the new server or with the new update?
jpg file 2.9 MB, 2.5 MB, 1.73 MB, 2.42 MB 1.65 MB 1.36 MB don't work
jpg file 462 KB, 936 KB, 4.52 MB work
Tried a 12 MB PNG and got error message file to big

very inconsistent?

There aren't any changes because it was an bit-by-bit transfer from one host to another. I never allowed an image of 12MB. The file should not be any more than 100K so a file of that size is 120 times larger than it needs to be. With the high density of modern cameras (mine is 54MB), you have to have a limit set.

If the file won't upload, it is likely because it is not a well-formed image file. If you use a program like IrfanView (Title: {title]) to open that file and then do a Save As, I'm sure you'll be able to upload that file because it will be a well-formed image. In Irfanview, Tools > Resize will let you change the resolution of the image and anything more than 1000 is simply using up server space needlessly.

Obviously, this is not something I have any control over because this is not my software. I only establish the size limit. The Gallery software is the exact software that was on the last host, though, so you would not have been able to upload it there, either.

Am having trouble uploading a picture to gallery. It goes to 100% and then error comes up saying problem uploading image.
Can you point me in right direction to what I an doing wrong.
Thanks
Peter

I am having the same problem have not been able to upload a picture for several days. If I try to load a picture more than 3 times the web page locks me out and I cannot access the site at all until the next day. It appears that it is nothing to do with woodturner pro but something to do with the web hosting company restricting access.

Lloyd did transfer to a new host last week so there may be issues. I have noticed some missing posts as well. Lloyd has been quiet so I assume that means he is very busy???

I may have found the problem. I had the hosting company increase the PHP memory and I'm hopeful that this solved the problem. If you get the chance, can your try another upload and let me know if it fixed the issue or if it still persists.
Thanks,
Lloyd
