My enthusiasm in bowl- turning began in January
2002 after attending a woodworking show. As I
watched a bowl-turning demonstration I was fascinated
by the process and thought I would give it a try.
After turning a few bowls I was hooked. As my
interest in turning expanded, I turned my first
segmented bowl in September2002. I was inspired
by Kevin Neelley's work and as a newcomer to segmented
turning his web-site had information that really
helped me get started, as well as Woodturner Pro.
I
look forward to learning and growing in bowl-turning.
For me, it is a rewarding pastime to spend hours
planing, building and turning a segmented piece
to its finished form. Especially when someone
shows an interest in how you accomplished what
you have done.
